Fridge House

Fridge House is located right at 23 Aditya Towers, near the V.S.N Road by the Shivaji Nagar Bus Stand. If you know that area, you know how busy it is with all the buses coming and going. Our shop is usually filled with old refrigerators and cooling units in various states of being taken apart. There’s always a faint smell of freon and old dust. We’ve been here for years, and the neighbors know us as the place where there’s always a pile of compressors near the back. We don’t have a shiny showroom. Instead, we have shelves full of copper tubing, gaskets, and thermostats. It’s a bit cramped inside, but we manage to find the tools we need. Most of the time, we’re out on calls, driving around to fix someone’s kitchen appliance that decided to quit in the middle of a heatwave. When we are in the shop, we’re usually tinkering with a motor or checking for leaks in a coil. It’s a messy business, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. We don’t do much advertising; the bus stand brings enough foot traffic and word of mouth keeps us busy. We just fix what’s broken and try to keep things running for the people in the neighborhood. It’s simple, local work.
