Shimizu Corporation

Shimizu Corporation is over at No. 2, Prestige Emerald, on the 5th level. This is on Lavelle Road, right next to the Airlines Hotel. Anyone who knows Bangalore knows that hotel and the area around it. It is a very central part of the city. Being on the fifth floor means we are a bit removed from the street noise, but you still hear the occasional honking from the cars below. We work on a lot of different projects here, mostly involving plans and a lot of coordination. The office is a professional space, but we keep it pretty simple. We have our desks, our computers, and plenty of maps and drawings spread out. It is a lot of sitting in front of screens and talking on the phone with people at construction sites. Lavelle Road is a nice place to walk during lunch, even if it is a bit crowded. We are not into flashy marketing; we just do our jobs and go home. The building itself is quite modern, but our daily life is just the usual office grind. We deal with a lot of technical stuff that requires a lot of focus. Sometimes we head over to the hotel next door for a quick bite or a coffee. It is a good location for meeting people because it is so easy to find. We just focus on the work at hand and try to stay on top of our daily deadlines.
