SHILPA SHRUNGAR

SHILPA SHRUNGAR is located at number 8 in Nagashettyhalli. We are very close to the Munishwara Temple. You can usually hear the bells ringing or the music from the temple rituals throughout the day. It’s a very local feel here. Our workspace is small and a bit old-fashioned. We don’t have a lot of fancy gadgets or modern furniture. It’s mostly wooden desks and chairs that have been around as long as the business has. We know most of the people who walk past our door. Nagashettyhalli is a tight-knit place, and we feel like a part of it. The morning starts with us sweeping the front and maybe lighting a bit of incense. We spend our time working on various tasks, though things move at a bit of a slower pace here compared to the city center. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are and they come by when they need something. There’s usually a pot of tea on the go. The office is often cluttered with various items we’ve collected over the years. It’s not very organized, but we have a system that works for us. If someone needs a file, we usually know which pile it’s at the bottom of. It’s a practical, everyday kind of existence. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just open up in the morning, do what needs to be done, and close up when the sun sets.
