We are located at 36 Sri Devi Nilayam, which is in the Ankanna Reddy Layout in Dodda Banaswadi, Bangalore. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the whole address, but it’s a good spot for Shekar Logistics. Anyone who lives in Bangalore knows that getting around can be a real headache because of the traffic, and Dodda Banaswadi is no exception. Our office is fairly simple and we don’t have any big signs or flashy lights out front. We spend most of our time coordinating trucks and making sure the drivers know where they’re going. It’s a lot of logistics work, which mostly means staying on top of schedules and hoping things don't get stuck in a jam somewhere. We’ve got a small team here at Sri Devi Nilayam and we all pretty much do a bit of everything. There’s always someone on the phone and someone else checking the computer for updates. We don’t really have a fancy corporate philosophy or anything like that. We just come in, do the work, and go home. Some days are more stressful than others, especially when a shipment is running late, but we just take it as it comes. It’s a steady job and we like being part of the local community here in the layout. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit over the years, but we’re still here at number 36. It keeps us on our toes.
