Sheffield Hallam University

Sheffield Hallam University has this office on Rathan Singh Road in Fraser Town. It’s not a full campus like you might see in the pictures from overseas, but more of a local base for us here in Bangalore. We handle a lot of the local coordination and help out with administrative things from this building. Fraser Town is a busy area, and Rathan Singh Road is no exception. There is always something going on outside, people moving about and cars honking at each other. Inside, we try to keep things a bit more organized, though on some days it can get pretty crowded with paperwork and people coming in with questions. We have a few rooms set up for meetings and a larger space where most of the staff sit. It’s a functional place, not really built for show. We spend a lot of time on the phone or answering emails, making sure that everything is moving along like it should. Sometimes we go out for lunch at one of the local spots nearby, which is one of the best parts about being in Fraser Town because the food around here is really good. We’ve been in this location for a while, and most of the people in the building know us by now. It’s a simple setup, and it works well for the kind of support we provide to students and staff. We just keep our heads down and do the paperwork.
