Our unit is No. 23 in the KIADB Complex, over by TVS Cross in Peenya’s 3rd Phase. Peenya is a massive place, and it’s easy to get lost if you don't know the landmarks. We’ve been doing packaging work here at Shashika Packages for quite a while. The complex is always humming with activity. There are trucks loading up and unloading boxes all day long. Inside our space, it’s mostly stacks of cardboard, paper, and machines for cutting and folding. It gets pretty noisy when everything is running at once. We aren't a corporate giant; we’re just a local business trying to keep up with our orders. The area is quite dusty and the roads aren't the best, especially when it rains, but this is where the industry is. We spend a lot of our time making sure the measurements are right and the machines don't jam. There’s a small place nearby where we get our coffee, and that’s about as much of a break as we get. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything. We just focus on the stacks of boxes that need to go out by the end of the day. It’s hard work, and the hours are long, but it’s what we do. It’s nothing fancy but it keeps us all going throughout the week.
