Our shop is located at 168/1, right on the corner where Sardar Patrappa Road meets Mariswamappa Lane, just off S J P Road Cross. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it’s packed with shops and people. We fit right in with all the noise and bustle. We deal with sanitaryware, which is a fancy way of saying toilets, sinks, and all the pipes that go with them. It’s a heavy business. We spend a lot of time lifting porcelain and shifting boxes around the cramped space we have. It’s not a showroom where you’d take a date. It’s a real shop for people who have a leak or are building a bathroom from scratch. We know our way around a plumbing catalog and can usually find that one specific valve you’re looking for. The air is always a bit dusty and there’s always someone shouting over the traffic outside. We’ve been here for years, and we’ve seen the area change, but the need for good pipes never goes away. We don’t do big ads. Most people find us because they were walking by or a plumber told them to come here. We just try to keep enough stock so that when someone comes in needing a kitchen sink, we actually have it ready to go. It’s honest, hard work and we are fine with that. We just take each day as it comes and try to keep things organized.
