Shapoorji Palonji & Co Ltd

So we are based out here in Bangalore, specifically at the place in Henngara-Post in Anekal-Taluk. It’s tucked away at Y Rajashekra’s spot. If you know the area, it is quite a bit away from the main city traffic which is actually a relief most days. We don’t have one of those big glass buildings you see in the tech parks. Our office is just a practical space where we handle the daily grind for Shapoorji Palonji & Co Ltd. Most of the time, the rooms are filled with stacks of blueprints and those old metal filing cabinets that squeak when you open them. The staff here, we just get on with things. We usually start the morning with some tea from the shop down the road and talk about the current project status. It gets pretty dusty out this way because of all the construction and the dry air, so we are always dusting off the desks. The windows stay shut mostly to keep the noise out. It is not a place for showing off. We just need a roof over our heads to manage the logistics and the payroll for the local workers. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or use our phones for light. It is just a normal, working-class setup. We’ve been at this address for a while and the locals know us by now. We don't bother anyone and just focus on getting the tasks finished by the end of the week.
