We’ve been at 4, Scott Lane for a good while now. It’s right near the Mackan Road Cross here in Bangalore. If you know the 560001 area, you know how busy it gets around here. Our office for Shapoorji Pallonji & Co Pvt Ltd isn't anything too fancy, just a regular place where we get our work done every day. Sometimes the traffic outside is pretty loud, especially when people are trying to cut through the cross road, but we’re used to it. Most mornings start with just opening up the doors and getting the desks ready. It’s a standard spot in a part of the city that always seems to be moving. We don't really have big signs or anything flashy, just the name on the door like everyone else. People sometimes ask where exactly on Scott Lane we are, and we just tell them to look for number 4. It’s a practical setup for us. We spend a lot of time here, drinking tea and looking over papers or talking about what needs to happen next on the schedule. It’s just how things go at this branch. The Bangalore weather is usually alright, though it gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons when the sun hits the lane just right. We’ve seen a lot of changes on this street over the years, but we’re still here, doing our thing at this address. It’s a solid place for a company like ours to keep its roots.
