The Panvel office is located in the National Park area, specifically at Plot No 452 in Thakka. It’s a busy part of Navi Mumbai, and there is always something going on outside our windows. The building, E 318, is pretty standard for this neighborhood. We have a few rooms dedicated to the engineering team and a small corner for the accounts person. It gets quite humid here, so there is always a bit of a damp smell in the air during the monsoon months. We have some old wooden desks that have been through a lot of moves. The floor is usually covered in a bit of dust because people are always coming back from the construction sites. We don’t have a cleaning crew that comes in every hour, so it looks like a real office where work actually happens. There are blueprints pinned to the walls with thumb tacks and a coffee machine that works when it feels like it. We usually end up going out to the local shops for our snacks anyway. It’s a practical place to be. We are close enough to the main roads to get where we need to go, but tucked away enough to get some work done. It’s not a showroom; it’s just where we keep the records and meet to discuss the next steps for our builds. It is enough for us.
