Down in Bangalore, we are situated at 4, Subramani Layout, 2nd Main, 1st Cross. It's near Vikas School in Vijinapura, right in the Doorvaninagar area. Shapoorji Pallonji & Co Ltd has been working out of this spot for a bit now. The neighborhood is a mix of things, and our office fits right in. We deal with a lot of the infrastructure and building work that's happening across the city. It's a lot of work keeping track of everything, especially with how the traffic is in Bangalore these days. Our staff spends a lot of time looking at site photos and checking the inventory lists. We aren't big on corporate slogans. We just focus on the actual building part. The office has that lived-in feel, with stacks of documents and rolls of blueprints everywhere you look. It’s a place where things get decided and problems get solved. We have some people who have worked here for decades, and they have a lot of stories about how things used to be. Most of our day is spent making sure the guys on the ground have what they need to keep building. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t try to be something we’re not. It takes a lot of patience to deal with the logistics of moving heavy machinery through these streets. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the drivers and the site supervisors. It's not a glamorous lifestyle, but it's what we've been doing for years. We just try to stay organized.
