We are set up right in the middle of the action at Electronic City Phase 2 in Bangalore. Our specific spot is at the Tata Bp Solar Site on Hosoor Road. If you’ve ever been stuck in the Bangalore traffic around there, you know exactly where we are. It’s a busy, dusty environment with trucks and cranes everywhere. The office is basically a site cabin that’s seen better days. It gets dusty within five minutes of cleaning, but that’s just how construction sites go. We spend our days dealing with the solar project details. It’s a lot of site visits and checking on the installations. The sun beats down on the site, so everyone’s usually wearing hats and carrying water. It’s not the glamorous tech version of Electronic City you see in brochures. It’s the gritty, real side where things actually get built. We have a lot of tea from the mobile carts that come around. The noise of the machinery is the background music to everything we do. We don't have time for long meetings or fancy corporate talk. We just need to make sure the panels and the structures are going up correctly. It’s a high-energy place, even if it feels a bit chaotic at times with all the different crews running around. Everyone is just trying to get the job done before the evening rain starts. It is a tough but good place to work.
