Well Contacts Co. is based at No. 56, which is part of the Pushpak Cascade building on Swathi Road. Shanti Nagar is a fairly central area, so it is quite convenient for us to get to. The building itself is one of those older apartment-cum-office blocks. It has a bit of character, I suppose. We have been in this spot for a long time. It is not a sleek modern office with open floor plans. We have separate rooms and a lot of old wooden furniture that is still holding up well. Most of our day is spent handling contact-related work and managing the files in the cabinets. Swathi Road is not too loud, which is a blessing when you are trying to think. We can even hear the birds in the morning sometimes. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee or heat up our lunch. It is a very low-key environment. We do not really do anything for show here. If you walked in, you would just see people working at their desks with papers spread everywhere. We know the security guard at the gate pretty well and always chat for a minute. The elevator is a bit slow and makes a creaking sound, so we often just take the stairs if we are in a hurry. It is a comfortable place to work without all the pressure of a big corporate office.
