Shanthi Interiors

Our little office is over at 1440 Banashankari 1st Stage. We’re really close to the Venkateshwara Temple, so we often hear the bells and the morning prayers while we’re getting started. Shanthi Interiors isn't a huge operation. It’s mostly just us working with wood, glass, and whatever else people want in their houses. The space is a bit small, cramped with catalogs and samples of laminate. We spend most of our time out at sites or sitting here sketching out ideas on paper. It’s a local business through and through. We know the neighbors and the people who run the shops around here. Sometimes people just walk in because they saw our sign while going to the temple. We don't have a fancy website or a glossy brochure. We just show people photos of what we did for the house down the street. The floor is usually a bit dusty from the site visits, and there's always a half-finished tea somewhere. We aren't looking to change the world, just trying to make sure people have decent cupboards and nice kitchens. It’s a lot of measuring and re-measuring to make sure things fit. We’ve been in this part of Banashankari for a long time now, and we’re quite happy staying right here where we started. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy and we like the people we meet every day.
