Shanthala Industries

We are tucked away at No.726 in Rajajinagar, specifically the 4th Block, right opposite where Ram Kumar Mills used to be. The building is a bit older, which is common for this part of the city. Inside Shanthala Industries, it’s mostly the sound of machinery and the smell of oil. We do a lot of industrial work that isn’t really seen by the average person walking down the street. It’s a lot of repetitive tasks, making sure parts are sized correctly and that the machines are running without any hiccups. We keep a regular schedule, starting early when the air is still a bit cool. Rajajinagar can get quite hot in the afternoons, and the shop floor reflects that heat. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just some big fans that move the air around while we work. Most of our days are spent checking specs and moving crates of finished items. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while now, so we know all the other shop owners nearby. Sometimes we step out for a quick tea at the corner stall when there is a break in the production. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. We focus on the task at hand and try to get everything finished before the sun goes down. There’s always more to do tomorrow, so we just clean up the tools and head home when the shift is over. We don't talk much while the machines are loud, we just get it done.
