Our office is over at No. 101 in the Palm Court area of Garden Estate, which is located in Jakkur, Bangalore. This side of the city has a different feel compared to the really crowded parts, though it’s definitely getting busier every year. We handle the administrative side of the pipe business from here, so it’s mostly desks, files, and phones. It’s a quiet spot inside the Garden Estate, which is a nice change from the noise of the main roads. We usually get in early to beat the Bangalore traffic and start going through the orders for the day. Being in Jakkur, specifically at the 560 064 pin code, means we have a bit more space, but we still deal with the usual city issues like power cuts or slow internet every now and then. We aren't a big corporation with polished offices; it’s just a simple room where we get our work done. Most of our day is spent coordinating between suppliers and making sure the numbers in our books match the stock we have elsewhere. It’s straightforward work and we don’t try to make it sound like anything more than it is. We have a small team, so we all know each other well and everyone helps out with whatever needs doing, whether it’s answering the phone or filing papers. It is a practical way to run a business, and it works for us.
