Shankara Nethralaya Eye Hospital & Research Centre

This hospital is located at No.41/42/45 in the Sri Guru Krupa building. We are on 7th Cross in Saraswathipuram, which is inside Nandhini Layout here in Bangalore. If you are looking for us, we are right opposite Eshwar Hospital. That makes it easy for most people to find us since that’s a big landmark in this area. We have been operating here for a while, dealing with eye care and research. It’s a fairly large space with different sections for different things. Every day there are people coming in for checkups or to get their glasses sorted. It’s often quite busy in the hallways with patients and staff moving back and forth. We try to keep things organized, but on busy mornings it can get a bit hectic. You’ll see people sitting and waiting their turn, reading newspapers or looking at their phones. The research side of things happens in the back, and that’s usually a bit quieter. Outside, the street has its usual Bangalore traffic, and you can see the activity over at Eshwar Hospital too. We’ve become a familiar sight on 7th Cross over the years. It’s just a regular place where we focus on eyes. Nothing more to it than that. We just show up, do the exams, and help people with their vision before they head back out into Nandhini Layout.
