Our place is at Lalbagh Road 79. It’s an old street with a lot of history and noise. We specialize in the electrical side of things for cars and bikes. If your lights aren't working or the starter is acting up, that's what we look at. The shop is full of wires, batteries, and old alternators. It looks a bit messy to most people who walk in, but we know where everything is. We've been at this location for a long time. My father started it and I just took over when he got too old to bend over engines. We don't have a fancy lobby or chairs for you to sit on. Usually, people just wait on the bench outside or go get a tea nearby while we poke around under the hood. It’s greasy work but someone has to do it. We don't use any high-tech diagnostic machines, mostly just testing things with a multimeter and our own experience. Sometimes the rain leaks in a bit through the roof when it's really pouring, but we just move the equipment out of the way. It’s a very local operation. We know the other shop owners on Lalbagh Road quite well. We aren't trying to be a big chain or anything like that. We just want to make sure the vehicles that come in leave with their lights on and their batteries charging properly. It’s simple, honest work. Shakthi Auto Electricals is just a small part of this neighborhood, and we like it that way. Just daily hard work and oily hands.
