Shades Designers

You can find us on the 3rd floor of building 542 in Nagarbhavi 2nd Stage. We’re right next to the BDA Complex, so it’s easy to grab something to eat or run errands nearby. Shades Designers is basically a small team working on various design projects. The 3rd floor walk-up keeps us moving. The office isn't very big. We have desks pushed against the walls and a lot of fabric swatches or sketches lying around depending on what we're doing that week. It’s a bit of a climb to get up here, but the view of the neighborhood is okay. We’ve been in the 3rd block for some time. We aren't a big corporate outfit. We just like to work on things that look good and function well. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up, and you can hear the traffic from the BDA complex dying down. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Most people who come here were told about us by someone else. We just talk like regular people and don't use a lot of industry jargon. It’s about getting the job done. Sometimes we run out of space for all the samples, so it gets a bit messy. That’s just part of being a working studio. We like the local vibe of Nagarbhavi and plan to stay put. We keep the kettle going and just focus on the drawings.
