Running a business in Mamulpet is definitely an experience. We are located at 37 Nandi Darshan, and if you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know the streets are narrow and always crowded with people and carts. It is the heart of the old market area. Our days start early because that is when the big deliveries usually arrive. We spend a lot of time moving boxes around and checking lists to see what came in and what needs to go out. The building, Nandi Darshan, has its own rhythm with different businesses operating on every floor. It can get quite loud with everyone shouting and the general noise of the market outside. We’ve gotten used to it over the years. We mostly deal with our regular suppliers and the people who have been coming to this area for decades. It is not the kind of place where you find peace and quiet, but it’s where the work happens. We eat our lunch in the small back area whenever there is a quiet moment, which isn't often. Sometimes the electricity goes off, and we just sit there with the door open to get some air. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything stays on track. It is hard work, but it is what we know how to do.
