Sgre Labels is tucked away at 196/1 on Magadi Main Road, over in the Gollarahatti area. We’ve been running the machines here for quite some time now. It’s loud in the back when the printing presses are going, so we usually have to shout a bit to be heard. The address is pretty straightforward, right on the main road, though the traffic can be a real headache some mornings. We handle labels of all kinds, mostly for local businesses that need stuff stuck on their products. It’s not the most glamorous job, but it’s steady and we know the machines inside and out. Sometimes the ink gets everywhere, and by the end of the shift, our hands are usually stained, but that’s just how it goes in this trade. We don't have a big reception area or anyone sitting around in suits. It’s mostly just the staff getting the rolls ready and making sure the colors look okay. The building itself is an older one, but it keeps the rain out and gives us enough room for the stock. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we're checking an order. Most of the real work happens on the floor with the paper and the glue. It's a bit cramped when a big shipment comes in, but we manage. We just focus on getting the labels out the door so people can use them. It’s a plain, hardworking place that does what it says it will.
