Our office is situated in the R.T. Nagar area of Bangalore. If you know the neighborhood, Sembawang Infrastructure (India) P Ltd is in Chowdappa Block, right on the 5th Main of Sultanpalya Main Road. It is a lively part of the city to be in. The office itself is quite plain and functional. We are not really interested in the high-tech, glassy look that a lot of other companies in Bangalore go for. We have our desks, our computers, and a lot of shelves filled with project folders and site reports. We handle a variety of infrastructure work from this location. The noise from the main road is pretty constant, but you get used to it after a while. We spend a lot of our time coordinating with suppliers and checking in on our construction crews. Bangalore traffic is a big part of our daily lives, and it definitely makes site visits interesting. We are not trying to be anything special. We are just a group of people who enjoy the practical side of building things. There is not any fancy marketing talk happening here. We just focus on the tasks we have for the day. Sometimes the office is a bit of a mess with all the drawings and samples lying around, but it is a working office, not a showroom. We just keep things moving and try to do an honest day’s work.
