Select Furniture

The shop is located at No.1038 on Dr Rajkumar Road, right in the heart of Rajajinagar 4th Block. It’s a pretty well-known spot because of all the activity around here. We have different kinds of furniture spread out across the floor. Sometimes it feels a bit tight when we get a new shipment of dining tables or wardrobes in. We spend a lot of time rearranging the sofas so people can actually walk through the aisles without bumping into things. It’s mostly just us keeping the place clean and making sure the wood stays polished. Customers come in and sit on the chairs to see if they’re comfortable enough for their living rooms. We don’t really do big sales pitches. If a table looks good and fits the space, that’s usually enough for most folks. The traffic on the road outside can be quite loud, but once you’re inside, it’s mostly just the sound of someone checking a drawer or moving a chair. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but the furniture business stays pretty much the same. People always need a place to sit or a bed to sleep on. We keep a notebook for orders and a tape measure handy at all times because everyone wants to know if a piece will fit through their front door. It’s a simple way to spend the day, just managing the stock and talking to neighbors. Sometimes we stay a little late if a delivery is arriving or if someone needs to pick up a table after work.
