Sekar & Company is tucked away at 5-52 in Chamundeswari Layout, which is part of Doddabommasandra. It’s more of a residential area, so it stays pretty quiet most of the time. We’ve been operating out of this spot for several years now. The office is actually just a small room we converted so we could have a place to meet people and keep our records. It’s not a corporate glass building; it’s just a regular house-turned-office. Sometimes the neighbor’s dog barks while we’re on the phone, but that’s just life in the layout. We handle a variety of local requests and paperwork for people in the neighborhood. My brother and I run the place, and we usually have a pot of coffee going by eight in the morning. We don’t use any big words or complicated systems. We just write things down in our ledgers and make sure we don’t lose anything. People find us because they live nearby or they’ve seen our name on a local list. We don’t do any fancy advertising because we prefer to keep things small and manageable. Being in Doddabommasandra feels like home, and we like that our customers are also our neighbors. It makes the work feel more personal. We try to be fair with everyone and just get through the day’s tasks without too much fuss. We're usually here if you need us.
