Seekan Architects

We've been here in Koramangala 8th Block for a while now. It's just a small group of us at 346. Most days it's just drawings everywhere and coffee cups. People stop by to ask about house plans or how to fix a wall. We don't do fancy talks. We just sit at the desks and work on the blueprints. The traffic outside is always loud but we've gotten used to it. Sometimes we're here late finishing up a sketch for someone's new place. It's a lot of measuring things twice. We use the computers mostly now, but there's still a lot of paper around. The office isn't very big. You can find us near the corner. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors on the phone. It's mostly about making sure things fit right. Nothing too complicated, just making sure the walls go where they should. We've seen the neighborhood change a lot from our window. It used to be quieter. Anyway, if someone needs a plan drawn up, this is where we do it. No big bells or whistles. Just us and the drawing boards. Sometimes we get things wrong and have to redraw, that's just part of it. We keep at it until it looks okay. It's a job like any other. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big lobby. We just need our tables and some quiet. Usually, it's just the sound of pencils and clicking.
