Our institute is located in Someshwaranagara, just off the 1st Main road near the Dharmaram College area. We are quite close to Nimhans, so people usually find us by looking for that landmark on Hosur Main Road. We focus on chest diseases and lung health. The building is a big one, spread out with several wards. It’s been here a long time. You can tell by the architecture and the way the gardens have grown in. It’s a government-run place, so it’s busy and there’s always something going on. We have patients coming in with all sorts of breathing issues. The wards are often crowded, and the staff is always moving between the labs and the patient rooms. It’s not a quiet place, but we try to keep some order. People wait in the corridors for their turns. We have a lot of space, but with the number of people coming from different districts, it fills up fast. You might find the registration area a bit chaotic in the mornings. It’s just how it is with a public hospital of this size. We don’t have any fancy decorations or soft music. It’s just a place for getting treatment. We just do our bit every day. The trees around the campus are quite old and give some shade to the families waiting outside. We have a pharmacy on site too which stays busy. It's a large complex and sometimes it takes a bit of walking to get around. We have seen many changes in the neighborhood over the years.
