Scorpio International

We are based on the first floor of the Rajiv Industrial Estate at number 17. The road outside is S. Langekar Marg and it is usually full of trucks and cars honking their horns. Scorpio International is the name we use for our trading business. We handle a lot of international paperwork for medical goods. It is a lot of back and forth with customs and shipping agents. The office is functional but doesn't have much in the way of decoration. We have some metal filing cabinets that are starting to rust at the edges and a few sturdy tables. We spend most of the day on the phone or sending emails to people in different time zones. Sometimes we have to stay late to catch someone on the other side of the world. The building itself is older and the stairs can be a bit steep when you are carrying a heavy box. We have a small window that looks out over the rooftops of Sewree. It isn't a great view but it lets in some light. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for when we get hungry. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just facilitate the movement of goods from one place to another and make sure the documents are correct. It is a long day but the work is consistent. Sewree has its own charm if you look for it.
