We are located at 79/24 in Mahalakshmi Layout, which is a part of town that has changed a lot since we first arrived. Our space is pretty straightforward. We don't have any of those modern open-plan layouts that people talk about these days. Instead, we have solid walls and a lot of shelves filled with folders that have been around for quite some time. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. The street outside can get a little crowded with parked scooters, so getting into the office in the morning is sometimes a bit of a puzzle. We mostly just focus on the tasks at hand. There’s usually someone complaining about the heat or the slow internet, but that’s just part of the daily life here. We’ve got a small kettle in the corner for tea, which gets used a lot during the rainy season. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so there’s a lot of talk about local news and what’s happening at the market. We don’t go in for anything flashy. It’s a functional environment where the desks are covered in notebooks and pens. We like being in this neighborhood because it feels lived-in and real. It’s just a regular office where we put in the hours and try to keep everything moving forward without too much fuss or extra noise.
