Sanwa Kenma Ltd. is based at 49 Madukar Building, which is situated on Infantry Road in the Shivaji Nagar area. It is a central part of the city, so getting here is usually a bit of a scramble through the traffic. The building has that older feel to it, and our space is filled with the kind of equipment and items you would expect for a company involved in grinding or polishing work. The air sometimes feels a bit heavy with the smell of the materials we handle. Shivaji Nagar is always buzzing, and you can hear the sounds of the city through the windows even when they are shut. We spend our hours focused on the technical side of things, making sure the specs are right and the orders are filled correctly. There isn't much in the way of decoration here; it is mostly just shelves, workbenches, and the tools of the trade. We have been in the Madukar Building for a decent amount of time, and the neighbors all know us. It is the kind of place where you know the tea stall guy around the corner by name because you are down there twice a day. The work can be repetitive, but there is a certain rhythm to it that feels right. We do not bother with corporate talk; we just show up, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down.
