Sanjeevani Netralaya

We’ve been here on Infantry Road for a good while now, right at house number 141. If you know the area, you probably know the big building for The Hindu newspaper just across the street from us. That’s usually how people find their way here when they get lost on Bhagwan Mahaveer Road. It’s a busy spot with lots of cars and people moving about all day. Our place isn't anything fancy or shiny, just a straightforward clinic where we look after people's eyes. Some days it’s really quiet in the mornings, and then suddenly the waiting room fills up with folks who’ve come in from different parts of Bangalore. We spend most of our time dealing with vision checks and spectacles. The traffic outside can be a bit much sometimes, especially during the evening rush when everyone is trying to get through the 560001 zip code area. We keep our doors open and just get on with the work. Being in this part of town means we see all sorts of people, from office workers nearby to families who have lived in this neighborhood for decades. It feels like we are just a small part of the furniture here now. The building is old but it works for what we do. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the patients who walk through the door. It’s a bit of a routine, but we like it that way. We just keep our heads down.
