Sangeetha Nursery Landscapes

Working at Sangeetha Nursery Landscapes means we spend our whole day around plants and dirt. We are right on Banneraghatta Road, pretty close to Jaideva Hospital. It’s a noisy road with all the ambulances and buses, but inside the nursery, it’s a bit different. We’re always watering something or moving heavy pots around. Our shoes are usually muddy. It’s just how it is when you work with soil. We don’t have a big air-conditioned office. We just stay outside or under the shade nets. People stop by on their way home to grab a small plant or ask about their garden. We don’t give big speeches about nature. We just know which plants need more sun and which ones are dying because they got too much water. It’s a simple life. Sometimes the heat is tough on the younger saplings. We spend a lot of time checking the leaves. We started this place because we liked being outdoors more than sitting behind a desk. The hospital landmark helps people find us, otherwise, they might drive right past. We have stacks of empty pots in the back and bags of compost piled up. It’s not a showpiece, it’s a working nursery where we get our hands dirty every single day.
