Samsons Nursery

We have been over here at 13/1 Jayanagar Main Road for quite some time now. Samsons Nursery isn't anything fancy, just a lot of plants and us trying to keep them alive in the heat. It gets pretty noisy with the traffic on the main road, but you get used to it after a while. Most mornings start early with watering everything before the sun gets too high. We have all sorts of stuff, from small indoor pots to some bigger trees that are a bit of a pain to move around. Sometimes the soil bags tear and we have to sweep up, which feels like a never-ending job. It's just a local spot where people from the neighborhood pop in when they want something green for their porch. We don't really have a big office or anything, just a small desk and some stools. My boots are always muddy, and there's usually a stray cat hanging around the back shed. If you're looking for us, we're right there near the corner. It's a lot of manual work, lifting heavy cement pots and unloading trucks when they show up. We just keep busy and try to make sure the plants look okay. It's decent work. Sometimes we run out of certain flowers because the weather was bad, but that’s just how it goes with this kind of business. The days are long but being around the green leaves makes it better than sitting in an office.
