Samprathi Eye Hospital

Samprathi Eye Hospital is located at No. 111 on the Railway Parallel Road. You have to look behind the Hotel Grand Ashok in Kumara Park West to find us. It’s a bit of a specific spot, but once you find the hotel, you are basically there. We have been running this eye hospital for several years now. It’s not a massive skyscraper or anything like that. It’s just a functional building where we help people with their vision. We have rooms for testing eyesight and places where the doctors can look closely at whatever is bothering your eyes. The waiting area is usually full of people reading magazines or just staring at the wall while they wait for their drops to work. It’s a regular part of the day for us. We see everyone from kids who need glasses for school to older folks who are having trouble seeing the newspaper. The Railway Parallel Road can be a bit loud with the traffic, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We don't do much in the way of big announcements or fancy posters. Most of our work comes from people in the local community who just need their eyes checked. We have a small staff who handles the front desk and the testing. It’s just a straightforward place where we try to get the job done and help people see a little clearer than before.
