Samir Trading Co.

Samir Trading Co. is located at B1/403 in the Kailash Parbhat building. We are at 173 Vidyanagari Marg in Kalina, Santacruz East. It’s a very busy part of town because the university is so close. We do trading, which basically means we spend our time on the phone or the computer buying and selling various goods. Our office isn't in a big commercial park. It’s a regular building where we have a few rooms. We have desks piled with papers and ledgers. It’s not very modern-looking, but it’s functional for what we do. We’ve been operating from Kalina for a long time. The area has everything we need, from banks to courier services. The traffic can be pretty bad, especially when we have to go towards the airport or the highway. We don’t have a mission statement or any of those corporate slogans. We just try to find decent products and get them to the right people at a fair price. It’s a small operation. There are only a few of us here, so we all do a bit of everything. Sometimes we are out visiting warehouses, and other times we are just here handling the accounts. We don't really do much in the way of marketing. Our business mostly comes from long-standing relationships we've built over the years. It’s a practical way to run a company. We just keep moving forward.
