Saibaba Prints

We’ve been here at Saibaba Prints in the Krishna Reddy building for quite a while now. Most people know us by the Balaji Circle or just by the sound of the machines running in the background. It’s a busy little spot on 1st Cross. Every morning, we open up the shutters and start setting up the jobs that came in the day before. There’s usually a pile of paper waiting to be cut and the smell of ink is pretty much part of the furniture at this point. We don't have a fancy front office or anything like that. It’s just us working through the stacks of orders, whether it’s a few cards or a bunch of pamphlets. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back, chatting with the neighbors. It’s not a complicated life here in Bhatthini Bari. We just try to get the printing done right so people don’t have to come back twice. We see a lot of students from Dharmaram College passing by and occasionally they drop in for last-minute stuff. The 1st Cross can get a bit tight with the vehicles, but we’ve managed okay. We usually stay until the last job is wrapped up for the evening. It’s just how we do things around here. No big speeches or promises, just the daily work of running a press in this part of town.
