Sai Motors

Sai Motors is located right at 218 in Banashankari 3rd Stage. It is usually pretty loud around here with all the tools going and the cars coming in and out. Most of the time, the floor is covered in a bit of oil, but that is just how a garage ends up looking. We have been here a good while now, seeing the neighborhood change as more people moved into the area. It started out as just a small shed where we fixed scooters, but now we handle all sorts of vehicles. My cousin helps me out with the heavy lifting and we have a couple of boys who come in after school to learn the trade. We do not have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. People usually just stand around and chat while we look under the hood. Sometimes parts take a day or two to arrive, which can be annoying, but we try to keep the basics on the shelf. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoon, so we usually keep the shutters halfway down to stay cool. It is not a glamorous job, getting grease under your fingernails every day, but it is what we know. We know most of the people who live on this street by name. They bring their cars when something sounds funny. We just do the work and send them on their way.
