Our office is tucked away in Bangalore, specifically at C/O Shaik Mohiddin’s place on 1st A Cross in Avallappa Garden. It’s in the R.T Nagar area, which is always a bit of a mess with traffic, but we manage. We’ve been working on elevators for quite a while now. The space we have is mostly full of spare parts, cables, and heavy tools that we need for the job. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a fancy lobby or chairs for waiting. Usually, we are out at different buildings across the city, making sure the lifts are moving like they should. If you come by the R.T Nagar post area, you’ll see our small sign. We spend a lot of time on the road, which is the hardest part of working in Bangalore. Sometimes a call comes in late at night because someone is stuck or a lift stopped working, and one of us has to head out immediately. It’s a lot of climbing stairs when the elevator is actually broken, which keeps us fit, I guess. Shaik Mohiddin has been kind enough to let us use this spot as our base. It’s a bit crowded with all the gear, and the paperwork usually gets shoved to one side of the desk, but we know where everything is. We just keep things running as best as we can in this busy city.
