Sahni Tyres & Lubricants

Our shop is located at 38 Jaya Chamarajendra Road, right on the 1st Main. If you have ever been down JC Road, you know how hectic it gets with all the spare parts shops and the constant flow of traffic. Sahni Tyres & Lubricants has been sitting here in the middle of it all for a long time. My father was the one who actually set things up years ago, and I have just sort of stayed on to run things. The walls are lined with tyres of all sizes, and there is always that smell of rubber and oil in the air. We don't have any air conditioning or a fancy waiting lounge for people. Most customers just stand around and chat with us while we look for the right size of tyre or the specific grade of lubricant they need for their vehicles. We carry the usual brands that people trust for their cars and bikes. The floor is often a bit greasy, and our hands are usually black with soot and oil by the end of the day. It is just the way it is in this line of work. We get a lot of regulars who live nearby or work in the local garages. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a new shipment arrives and we have to stack everything up to the ceiling. It is a simple business, really. We open early and close when the street finally starts to quiet down at night. We don't do any big advertising, just the old sign out front.
