We are located out on National Highway No. 207 at the Safexpress Pvt. Ltd site in Bangalore. It’s a bit of a trek out here near Hoskote Road and Nadavati in Koraluru Village, zip code 560067. The space is large because we need the room for all the trucks and crates. It’s a dusty area sometimes, being right off the highway like this. We spend most of our time out on the floor or checking the gates. It’s a lot of physical work, moving things around and making sure the loaders know which truck is which. It’s not a quiet office job. You can hear the engines and the shouting of directions all day long. We’ve got a system that works for us, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. The team here knows the routine inside out. We don’t have much in the way of a lobby, mostly just the desks where the manifestos get signed. It’s an honest way to make a living, keeping the supply chain moving through this part of Bangalore. Sometimes the rains make the yard a bit muddy, but we manage. If you are coming down Hoskote Road, just look for the gates. We’re usually here late making sure the night shift gets everything sorted for the morning departures. It’s just how it goes here. There is always a truck arriving or leaving at odd hours.
