Safety Engineer

You can find us at 2 130/C1 on Anjeneya Temple Road in Bangalore. We are in the Parameshwari Nilaya building in Vayappa Garden. It’s near CV Raman Nagar. Bangalore traffic is something else, so we spend a lot of time planning our routes to sites. As engineers, our desks are usually covered in blueprints and site maps. It’s a bit of a mess, but there is a system to it. We go out to different projects to check on the structural safety and make sure things are being built the right way. It’s a lot of dusty shoes and climbing over rebar. Back at the office, it’s a bit quieter. We have the temple nearby, so you can hear the bells sometimes. It’s a nice part of Nagavarapalya. We’ve been working from this spot for quite some time now. We aren't interested in being the biggest firm in the city. We just want to do our engineering work properly. Sometimes the software crashes or the printer runs out of ink right when we need a drawing, but that’s just how it is. We drink a lot of filter coffee and try to stay on top of the schedule. People around here know us as the guys who are always looking at buildings. We just keep our heads down and do the math. It’s a decent way to make a living in this city and we enjoy it.
