Safetek Control Systems

Down here at 20, Revabhai Industrial Estate, things stay pretty busy. We are right near Ctm Mill, so you can always hear the general hum of the neighborhood. Being near N.H. Road No. 8 means there is never a quiet moment with the trucks passing by all day and night. Our space in Amraiwadi is full of wires, toolboxes, and half-finished panels. It’s not the cleanest looking place, but we know where everything is kept, mostly. Sometimes we spend hours just tracing a single line or making sure a switch actually does what it is supposed to do. The desks are covered in schematics and coffee cups that have been sitting there way too long. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the front of the building, so we usually have the big shutters open to catch whatever breeze comes off the road. We don't really do much besides sit here and put these systems together piece by piece. It’s a lot of fiddling with small parts and checking connections over and over. People stop by from the other units in the estate to chat or borrow a tool, and that’s just how it goes around here. It is just us working away in the middle of all the industrial noise, trying to make sure the equipment behaves itself before we head home at the end of the shift.
