Safe Windows

At Magadi Phase-I Vatva 6, the sound of cutting and fitting is pretty much the background music of our day. We’ve been working out of this spot for a while, and it’s mostly just a workshop where we put windows together. It’s dusty work, and there’s always glass scraps that need to be swept up at the end of the shift. We aren’t really the type to sit in meetings; we’re usually out back checking frames or making sure the seals are tight. The address at Vatva 6 is easy to find if you know the Magadi area, though it looks like every other industrial unit on the block. We have a couple of old trucks we use for deliveries, and they’ve seen better days, but they get the job done. The weather plays a big part in what we do, since nobody wants their windows replaced when it’s pouring rain outside. Inside, it’s mostly just us and the machines. We keep a radio playing to pass the time while we work on the different orders that come in. It’s a straightforward business. We take the measurements, we make the windows, and then we go out and put them in. There isn't much more to it than that. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the glass doesn't crack before it reaches the house. It's a bit of a repetitive job, but there's a certain satisfaction in seeing a frame fit perfectly.
