Things move fast here in Doha. We are tucked away with our P.O. Box 3453, handling the day-to-day of development work. It isn't all shiny skyscrapers from where we sit. A lot of it is just making sure the plans are right and the calls are made. You can usually reach us on the mobile number we give out; someone usually picks up unless we're on a site. It’s a lot of coordination. Qatar has been building so much lately, and we’ve been part of that landscape for a bit. Our office is more about function than style. We have maps on the walls and plenty of dusty boots near the door. It’s honest work. We don’t spend much time writing fancy reports about our vision. We’d rather be out looking at a plot or checking on a crew. The heat gets to you sometimes, so the AC is always humming in the background. It’s a small group of us. We’ve worked together for years, so we don't need to say much to know what needs to be done next. People call us when they need something built or managed without the extra fuss. We keep it simple. It's just how we operate. No big brochures or sales pitches. Just the work. The phone lines can be a bit spotty when the wind picks up, but that's just part of being here. We don't have a big fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us hunched over a desk or looking at a blueprint that's been folded too many times.
