Saddles Inc operates out of 131, 6th Cross, 4th Main in BTM 2nd Stage. We are right in the N.S. Palya area, near Bannerghatta Road, which is always a bit of a mess with construction and traffic. The workshop is where most of the action happens. Since we deal with saddles and leather work, there is always a strong smell of hide and oil in the air. It is a very hands-on kind of place. You won't find many people sitting around in suits here. Instead, we are usually hunched over benches or moving heavy pieces of equipment. The floor is often covered in small scraps of leather and thread. We have been in this part of Bangalore for a good stretch of time, and we’ve seen the buildings go up all around us. The 6th cross is a bit quieter than the main road, but it still gets its fair share of dust. We have a few big fans that try to keep the air moving, but it still gets warm when we are busy. We don't really have a big marketing department or anything like that. People mostly find us through word of mouth or because they see the sign when they are stuck in traffic. It is just a place where people who know about leather come to get things done. We work hard and try to stay organized despite the constant flow of materials.
