Saarangi Restaurant & Bar

Our place is located in Rajajinagar, specifically at Dhor Bazaar 638-E. It’s an older building that has been around for quite a while. You can see the name Saarangi Restaurant & Bar on the wooden sign outside. The area of Dhor Bazaar is usually bustling with shoppers and vendors, so there is never a dull moment. We have two floors, though the top one is mostly used for storage these days. The stairs are narrow and creak a bit when you walk up them. We spend our mornings setting up the tables and making sure the bar is stocked. The lighting inside is a bit dim, which is just how the building was designed. We don't have any big slogans or goals. We just open the doors at 638-E and wait for the regulars to show up. Rajajinagar is a busy neighborhood, and we are glad to have a spot here. The kitchen staff has been with us for a long time, and they know the routine by heart. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time finding Dhor Bazaar, so we have to go out and wave them down. We use simple plates and glasses, nothing too fancy. It’s an honest way to make a living, and we just focus on doing the work properly every day. The fan in the corner makes a clicking noise, but we hardly notice it anymore. It is just life here.
