S Mohamed Ismail & Co is located at No.107 on Commercial Street in Bangalore. This is one of the busiest streets you could find, and we are right in the thick of it. Our shop is diagonally opposite Singapore Plaza, which is a major landmark in the 560001 area. We’ve been here for a long time and the building shows its age a bit, but that’s just the way we like it. There is a lot of history on this street. Every day is different because of the crowds and the energy of the shoppers outside. Inside, it’s a bit more focused. We don't have modern furniture or fancy lighting. It’s a very traditional setup where everything has its place, even if it looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. We don't spend money on marketing or trying to look better than our neighbors. We just show up, open the doors, and get to work. The street noise is constant, but we’ve grown used to it over the years. Sometimes the shop feels a bit small when it’s busy, but we make it work. We stay until the evening when the crowds finally start to thin out. It’s a practical way to run things, and being on Commercial Street means we are right where the action is. It’s not a polished business, just a real one that’s been around for quite a long time.
