If you go down to Singasandra, you will find us right below the Urvashi Auto Mobile shop at number 49. It is a bit of a noisy spot with all the cars going by, but that is just how it is for a tyre shop. We spend most of the day surrounded by rubber and the smell of grease. It’s a physical job, lifting heavy wheels and using the machines to get things balanced right. The floor is usually a bit messy because we are constantly working on something new and the old tyres stack up quickly. We handle punctures, new tyre fittings, and checking the alignment for people who live around here or are just passing through on the highway. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with a TV or anything like that. People usually just stand around and chat while we work or go get a snack nearby. The tools are old but they still work perfectly fine for what we need to do. Sometimes the air compressor acts up in the morning, but we’ve learned how to fix it ourselves without calling anyone. It’s a small team of us here. We don't talk much while we're working because of the noise from the impact wrenches. We just focus on the job and make sure the bolts are tight before the car leaves the shop. It is honest work and we take it one vehicle at a time until the sun goes down and we can finally lock up.
