S L N Industries is tucked away at 21/22/1 in the Peenya Industrial Area, over in Vivekanand Nagar. We are pretty easy to find because the police station is right nearby, which is usually how we explain the directions to anyone coming over. Working in Peenya means you’re always surrounded by the sound of heavy machinery and the smell of grease. Our unit is no different. We’ve got our machines set up and they run for most of the day. It gets pretty loud, so we usually have to shout to be heard over the clanking. The floor is concrete and definitely has some stains from years of work. We aren't really into the whole polished business look. We wear heavy boots and shirts that we don't mind getting dirty. There’s a lot of metal scraps around the edges of the room that we have to clear out every weekend. Our address at 21/22/1 has been our home base for a long time. The neighbors are all doing similar industrial work, so we all know each other. Lunch usually happens at the small canteen down the road. It’s a hard-working atmosphere where we just focus on the tasks at hand. Nothing is fancy here, just a lot of practical work being done by people who have been doing it for years and don't need much else.
