S L N Batteries

Our shop, S L N Batteries, is located at 664 in the Nandini Layout area. We are specifically situated in Vijayanandha Nagar right on the Shankarnagar Main Road. It is a very straightforward shop with stacks of heavy batteries piled up everywhere you look. They are quite heavy, so we definitely get a good workout just moving the new stock around every week. People usually come to see us when their car won’t start in the morning or their home power backup fails during a storm, so they aren't always in the best of moods. We try to help them out as quickly as we can so they can get back to their day. Most of our work is testing voltages and cleaning up dirty terminals around the shop. The floor is made of concrete and has some permanent stains from battery acid spills over the years. We have a small, cluttered desk in the corner where we keep all the paper receipts and logs. The Main Road is always buzzing with the sound of buses and auto-rickshaws. We get a lot of dust blowing in from the street, so we are constantly wiping down the glass counter. It is just a few of us working here on a daily basis. We take turns heading out for tea at the small shop just down the road. It isn't a fancy business, just a local spot for people with practical needs. We’ve stayed put while other shops have closed.
