S J R Builders is located on Main Masque Road in Bismillah Nagar, just off Bannerghatta Road. We are at 19/24, care of Ghulam Mehboob. Bangalore is a fast city, but our little corner in Bismillah Nagar feels a bit more grounded. The office is right in the middle of a lively area. There’s always the sound of traffic and people from the main road. We’ve been here for a while now, working on various building projects around the city. The office isn't much to look at—just some desks, chairs, and a lot of maps and site photos pinned to the walls. We spend a lot of time talking to vendors and checking on supply deliveries. It’s a lot of coordination. Sometimes things go smoothly, and sometimes they don't, like when the rain hits and everything slows down. We don't try to sugarcoat things. Construction is messy and loud. We just try to stay on top of the details. Most of us have worked together for a long time, so we have a way of doing things that just works for us. We aren't some massive corporation with a glass skyscraper. We are just here on Masque Road, doing what we do. It’s a lot of back-and-forth, but we like the finished results. It’s practical work for practical people. That is pretty much how we spend our weeks.
